Procedure for Microwave Paprika Carrots

We’ll prepare this side dish in 15 minutes.

  • Wash the carrots thoroughly under running water and peel them using a mandolin or a small knife. After drying them well, cut them into sticks.

Place them in a baking dish or tray suitable for the microwave and season with oil, salt, and paprika, mixing well with your hands to distribute the seasoning over all the carrots.

Chop the red onion into irregular pieces (preferably elongated, like Tropea onions) and scatter it over the carrots. Stir with a spoon.

Cook in the microwave using the CRISP mode for 15 minutes.

Alternatively, you can use the combined microwave and grill 650 W for the same time.

They’re already ready! They will come out soft inside and crispy outside. Serve immediately or warm.
