The folded flatbread with bresaola and lamb’s lettuce is a very easy, super quick to prepare dish that is also very tasty. It can be made in no time, perfect for those who don’t have much time but still want a balanced dish of flavors. In this case, I used ready-made flatbreads that I always have at home, but if you want you can make them yourself. The flatbread should be heated first, then a cut is made to the center and it is filled as you like. If you prepare it with foods like mozzarella or provola, you can absolutely reheat it in a nonstick pan or on a griddle until the cheese melts. You can also try:

Steps to Make Folded Flatbread with Bresaola and Lamb’s Lettuce
To prepare the folded flatbread with bresaola and lamb’s lettuce, first wash the lamb’s lettuce well. Then dry it well with paper towels. Take a pan, heat it and cook the flatbread for a couple of minutes on each side. Then place it on a plate, make a cut on the flatbread from the edge towards the center.
Then fill with spreadable cheese, in this case I chose Philadelphia, but you can also use stracchino, robiola, or other soft cheeses, over the entire surface. Then in the first quadrant, put grated Grana, on the top part put sliced bresaola, and finally in the last quadrant, put the lamb’s lettuce. Add salt and pepper to taste if you like.
Now overlap the various parts starting from the one with the Grana, then the bresaola and the lamb’s lettuce. Then serve it! I didn’t reheat the flatbread because I prefer bresaola uncooked as cooking alters its taste. The same goes for lamb’s lettuce, as the heat from the pan would tend to make it immediately mushy and it would lose its texture.
In my opinion, this is an excellent combination, with delicate flavors that blend with the stronger taste of the Grana. For me, approved!
Storage and Tips
You can store the flatbread in the refrigerator for 1 day.
If you don’t like lamb’s lettuce, you can use arugula.
I used grated Grana, but if you prefer more texture, you can use Grana or Parmesan shavings.
