Ready pizza cannoli with tomato and mozzarella are perfect as a snack, appetizer, but also as a second course maybe accompanied by sautéed or grilled vegetables, or why not even with a simple salad. They are really quick to make, ready in 10 minutes and you will only need a roll of ready-made pizza, which you usually find in the refrigerated section of grocery stores, mozzarella, if you can use block or pre-sliced mozzarella so it doesn’t release too much liquid and make the pizza too soggy, but if you prefer classic mozzarella, put it in a strainer for a couple of hours to let the liquids out. Then you will need tomato purée and dried oregano, and you’re done! You can fill these cannoli however you like, with cold cuts, with vegetables or simply with tomato and mozzarella as I did. If you use the ready pizza base, you can also try:

Steps to make ready pizza cannoli with tomato and mozzarella
To prepare ready pizza cannoli with tomato and mozzarella, first unroll a roll of ready-made pizza found in the refrigerated section of supermarkets, and with a knife or pizza cutter, cut the base into 8 squares. Meanwhile, preheat the static oven to 392 degrees Fahrenheit. Take a small bowl and mix the tomato purée, a splash of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, and enough dried oregano. Now take a spoon and place a few spoonfuls of purée on each rectangle.
Now add the mozzarella; I used the dry mozzarella for pizza.
Now close the piece of pizza as if it were a cannoli by pulling the two corners toward the center. Now bake the pizza cannoli and cook them for about 20 minutes. I left the parchment paper already present on the pizza base, but if it’s more convenient for you, you can put another sheet and place the cannoli on top.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Your cannoli are ready to be eaten! Delicious!
Storage and Tips
You can store them in the fridge for up to 2 days.
You can fill them as you prefer, with ham and cheese, with speck and mushrooms, with vegetables, with cold cuts, basically with anything!
If you don’t like it, you can omit the dried oregano, or you can put basil instead.
