  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil (level)

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • to taste aromatic herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme, marjoram)

  • 1 Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Baking tray

Steps to make the baked parmesan carrots

  • To prepare the baked parmesan carrots, first clean the carrots well, peel them, and cut them in half, then cut each half lengthwise again. Meanwhile, preheat the static oven to 392°F. In a large bowl, place the cut carrots, 2 level tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and I added a mix of aromatic herbs that I found at the supermarket, including sage, rosemary, thyme, and marjoram. Mix everything well with a spoon so that the carrots are well seasoned.

  • Now place a sheet of parchment paper on the baking tray, pour some extra virgin olive oil. Now add the grated parmesan cheese and distribute it well over the entire surface of the tray. Arrange the carrots in the tray with the cut side down. Bake the parmesan carrots in a static oven at 392°F for about 25 minutes, they should be nicely golden and with an inviting crust.

  • All that’s left is to take the carrots out of the oven and enjoy them! Serve them hot but they will be delicious even cold!
