Ingredients for preparing spaghetti with turkey meatballs

  • 9 oz spaghetti
  • 7 oz ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp pecorino
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs (Level tablespoons)
  • Half red onion
  • to taste salt
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • to taste chopped parsley
  • to taste black pepper

Steps to make spaghetti with turkey meatballs

  • To prepare spaghetti with turkey meatballs, first prepare the meatballs. In a large bowl, put the ground turkey, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper, the whole egg, 4 level tablespoons of breadcrumbs, and the chopped parsley. Mix well with your hands until the mixture is compact. Now it’s time to make the small meatballs. In a large pan, pour some extra virgin olive oil, the red onion previously chopped, sauté for a minute, then add the meatballs and brown them for a couple of minutes on each side.

  • Then add the tomato sauce, if needed add a splash of water, salt, and pepper to taste, and cook everything on low heat for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, as the meatballs cook, put a pot of salted water on the stove, bring it to a boil, and when it reaches boiling, add the spaghetti. Cook them for the time indicated on the package, then drain and let them flavor directly in the pan with the sauce and meatballs. Be careful, stir them gently so as not to break the meatballs.

Storage and Tips
