Steps to Make Chicken Strips with White Wine
To prepare chicken strips with white wine, first cut the chicken breast into strips about an inch wide. I used thinly sliced chicken breast. Dredge the strips in all-purpose flour and try to shake off the excess flour.
Now take a non-stick pan, pour in some extra virgin olive oil, and brown the meat for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust the salt, and if you like, you can also add a pinch of black pepper. On high heat, deglaze with the white wine and mix well with a wooden spoon. When the wine has evaporated, continue cooking the meat on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, turning the meat occasionally.
A nice creamy sauce should form. Turn off the heat and serve the strips hot.
Storage and Tips
You can store the strips in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
If you don’t have white wine, you can also use red wine; they’ll be just as delicious.
