The coffee mousse with cream is a very simple recipe, quick to prepare, it’s a cold dessert, very creamy, foamy. You only need 3 ingredients to make this fantastic and tasty mousse: fresh heavy cream, espresso coffee, and powdered sugar. I didn’t sweeten the coffee, but if you want a slightly sweeter mousse, you can add just a teaspoon of sugar. Then you can decorate your mousse with sweetened or unsweetened cocoa or with coffee beans. To prepare this recipe, you will need an immersion blender, I have the Bosch Ergomixx. In about 4/5 minutes you will have made a delicious and fresh super tasty coffee cream. If you like coffee recipes, you should definitely try:

Ingredients to prepare the coffee mousse

  • 3 coffee cups coffee
  • 250 ml fresh heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Tools

  • Immersion blender
  • Spoon
  • Coffee cups
  • Pitcher

Steps to make the coffee mousse

  • To prepare the coffee mousse, first make 3 cups of coffee (about 150 ml) using a moka pot or a coffee machine. Wait for it to cool, then place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least a couple of hours before using. Also keep the fresh heavy cream in the refrigerator as it needs to be very cold. Put it in the pitcher along with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, then add the chilled coffee.

  • Now begin to whip the mixture with an electric mixer or immersion blender for about 4/5 minutes. It should become foamy and whipped. When it is ready, pour it into your small glasses with the help of a spoon. You can then decorate the mousse as desired with sweetened or unsweetened cocoa (I used sweetened) or with coffee beans. Your coffee mousse is ready to be served! Perfect for summer but delicious all year round!

Storage and Tips

You can store the cold coffee cream in the refrigerator for a couple of days

A small tip to help the cream whip well: before use, place the container and electric mixers in the refrigerator, and make sure the tools you use are perfectly clean. Another tip, the cream and coffee must be cold from the refrigerator.

If you like a sweeter cream, you can add sugar to the coffee.
