Ingredients to make Pan di Stelle Cream Cookies
- 7 oz spreadable cream (Pan di Stelle)
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg (medium)
Tools
- 1 Non-stick baking tray
- Parchment paper
- 1 Fork
Steps to make Pan di Stelle Cream Cookies
To make Pan di Stelle cream cookies, first weigh 200 grams (about 7 oz) of Pan di Stelle spreadable cream and pour it into a large bowl. Add 1 egg and mix it well with 1 tablespoon so that it combines well. Now add 150 grams (about 1 1/4 cups) of sifted all-purpose flour and mix first with a regular or wooden spoon, then finish with your hands. Form a soft dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Take the dough and shape it into balls with your hands, then place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Once all are prepared, use the prongs of a fork to form a pattern on the cookie. Preheat the static oven to 356°F (180°C) and bake for about 12 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them cool. Serve Pan di Stelle cream cookies for breakfast or as a snack, perhaps with a nice cup of tea!
Storage and Tips
You can store the cookies for up to 5 days at room temperature in an airtight container or under a cake dome.
If you like, you can dust them with powdered sugar.
