Ingredients

  • 4 Golden apples
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Preparation of Ginger and Cinnamon Apples in Air Fryer

  • Wash the apples well, without drying them, cut them in half, remove the core, and chop them into not-too-small pieces.

  • Place the chopped apples in a baking dish and season them with 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1 heaping teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Stir to combine.

  • Then transfer the apples to the air fryer and cook at 392°F for 13 minutes. Stir quickly halfway through cooking.

    Once cooked, let them cool for a couple of minutes.

  • And voilà… now your ginger and cinnamon apples in the air fryer are ready to be tasted and served, perhaps with some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream to further enhance the spices.

Useful Tips

If it’s your first time using these spices, I recommend adding them gradually until you find the taste you like best.

You can also use Renette apples instead of Golden apples.

With the indicated cooking times, the apples will be cooked but still firm. If you prefer them softer, cook them for 2-3 more minutes.
