The tomato and mozzarella sandwich bread lasagna is a simple, quick, but very tasty main course. They are different from traditional lasagna, and instead of egg pasta, we find crustless sandwich bread slices, tomato sauce, and mozzarella. Really simple, perfect for those who want a complete dish but have little time! It was approved even by my 2-year-old daughter! If you like the tomato and mozzarella combination, you can also try the baked pasta with tomato and mozzarella or the phyllo rolls!

Steps to make the tomato and mozzarella sandwich bread lasagna
To prepare the tomato and mozzarella sandwich bread lasagna, first take a small bowl and pour in the tomato sauce, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, the dried oregano, and 6 basil leaves, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and mix well. Butter or oil a baking dish well and start preparing your lasagna by placing 6 slices of crustless sandwich bread, pouring some seasoned tomato sauce over it, grated mozzarella (I used pizza mozzarella), and grated Parmesan. Now make a second layer with the sandwich bread, more tomato sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Meanwhile, preheat the static oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the sandwich bread lasagna. Cook it for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 5 minutes, then serve.
