FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Can I use plant-based yogurt instead of regular yogurt?
Yes, you can replace regular yogurt with plant-based yogurt (such as soy, coconut, or almond), especially if you’re following a vegan diet or have intolerances. Just make sure the yogurt is not too liquid to avoid altering the batter’s consistency.
What type of flour is best for fluffier pancakes?
All-purpose flour makes pancakes fluffier thanks to its fineness, but you can also use whole wheat or oat flour for a more rustic and nutritious version. If using alternative flours, add an extra teaspoon of baking powder to maintain softness.
How can I flavor them without adding sugar?
You can add cinnamon, lemon or orange zest, vanilla extract, or even a pinch of cardamom to give more flavor to the pancakes without sweetening them.
