The tagliatelle with meat sauce and peas represent a homemade main course to make for a Sunday lunch or special occasions.
To the classic tagliatelle with meat sauce, this time I added peas, making it a richer and tastier dish.
For this recipe, I used straw and hay tagliatelle, but you can use the pasta type you like most: you will still achieve a fantastic dish!

- 7 oz egg tagliatelle
- 5 oz peas
- 5 oz ground meat
- 1 sausage
- 1 carrot
- Half stalk celery
- Half onion
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- to taste extra virgin olive oil

Steps
To make the tagliatelle with meat sauce and peas, pour a dash of oil into a pan, along with chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Let them soften for 10 minutes on low heat.
Then add the ground meat and crumbled sausage, letting them brown for a couple of minutes.
Also add the fresh peas and the tomato sauce. Pour some water into the tomato sauce jar to recover all of it, then pour it into the pan.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally. Salt at the end of cooking.
Cook the tagliatelle in plenty of salted boiling water; once cooked (preferably al dente), drain them and add them to the pan with the meat sauce and peas.
Stir well to combine the ingredients. Serve and enjoy your meal!
