Dried Fruit and Chocolate Bars are made gluten-free and with only four ingredients.
To make this recipe, I used a mix of dried fruits consisting of walnuts, almonds, dried red berries, pistachio granules, and peanuts.
I combined the dried fruits with maple syrup and puffed spelt, then cooked in an air fryer; alternatively, you can bake them in the oven.
Once cooked and cooled, I covered them with chocolate; after the chocolate solidified, I cut the bars.
With just a few ingredients, you’ll get bars with an irresistible taste!

Ingredients
- 6 oz dried fruits
- 1 tbsp puffed spelt (or puffed rice)
- 2 tbsps maple syrup
- 3 oz milk chocolate (or dark chocolate)

Steps
To make the dried fruit and chocolate bars, combine the dried fruits with the puffed spelt in a bowl.
Then add the maple syrup, mix with a spoon to adhere well to the dried fruits.
Pour the mixture into a 8×8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper and flatten it with the back of a spoon.
Cook in the hot air fryer at 320°F for 8-10 minutes. Or in a preheated convection oven at 300°F for about 12/15 minutes, until golden brown.
The bars will be ready when they are well caramelized and golden on the surface.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, pour it over the surface of the bars, and spread it evenly. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
After the time, cut the bars with a knife. Enjoy!
