Egg White and Greek Yogurt Pound Cake in Air Fryer

The egg white and Greek yogurt pound cake, cooked in a hot air fryer, is a soft cake made without butter.

Ideal for breakfast or a snack, this pound cake is very easy to make and requires just a few minutes of preparation.

Egg White and Greek Yogurt Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 5 oz egg whites
  • 5 oz 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 tbsps sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsps chocolate chips

Steps

  • To make the egg white and Greek yogurt pound cake, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks with an electric mixer.

  • In a bowl, pour the Greek yogurt and add the sugar. Mix and then add the oil and vanilla extract.

  • Then add the sifted flour with the baking powder, mix to obtain a smooth and lump-free mixture.

  • Fold in the egg whites with the help of a spatula, mixing from the bottom up.

  • Finally, add the chocolate chips, always mixing from the bottom up.

  • Pour the batter into a pound cake mold (silicone or aluminum suitable for the air fryer), lightly oiled.

  • Cook the pound cake in a hot air fryer at 320°F for about 15 minutes, or until golden and the toothpick test comes out clean.

  • Let it cool before slicing and enjoying. Enjoy!
