Creamy Pasta with Potatoes and Tuna
Have you ever tried creamy pasta with potatoes and tuna? It’s one of those clever fridge-emptying dishes but particularly tasty!
Creamy, flavorful, and ready in less than half an hour, this recipe is ideal for when you have little time but don’t want to give up a nice plate of pasta.
Everything cooks in one pot, without too many steps, and with the addition of cream cheese, it becomes creamy and enveloping.
Perfect for a quick dinner, to empty the fridge, or simply to treat yourself to something good.

Ingredients
- 12.3 oz penne rigate
- 11.3 oz canned tuna in oil
- 4 potatoes
- 2 tbsps cream cheese
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste dried parsley
Tools

Steps
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes.
Place them in a pot with plenty of salted water and bring to a boil. After about 10 minutes, add the pasta directly into the same water and continue cooking for the time indicated on the package.
When the pasta and potatoes are cooked, drain them (reserving a ladle of cooking water). Pour everything into a large pan or directly into the pot.
Add the drained tuna and cream cheese. Mix over low heat until a nice creamy consistency is achieved, using a little cooking water if necessary. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
