Yogurt and Chocolate Cake

The yogurt and chocolate cake cooked in a hot air fryer is a dessert made without using eggs.

This recipe is very easy to prepare: just combine the ingredients, and add chocolate chips on the surface. Once cooked, I then garnished the cake with powdered sugar.

In just a few minutes you will make a small dessert, healthy and nutritious, perfect to enjoy at any time of the day.

Yogurt and Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (also vegetable)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 oz dark chocolate
  • as needed chocolate chips
  • as needed powdered sugar

Steps

  • To make the yogurt and chocolate cake, pour the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a bowl.

  • Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of honey or sugar.

  • Then add the yogurt, milk, and chocolate melted in a bain-marie. Start mixing the ingredients with a whisk. You should obtain a smooth, lump-free mixture.

  • Lightly grease the inside of the molds and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

  • Pour the mixture inside them and garnish the surface with chocolate chips.

  • Cook in a hot air fryer at 340°F (170°C) for 15-20 minutes, depending on your fryer.

  • For those who do not have an air fryer, bake in a preheated oven at 355°F (180°C) for 20 minutes.

  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Then transfer to a small plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
