The chicken wrap, also known as chicken rolls, is a typical Tex-Mex dish made from filled and then rolled tortillas.
Today I want to show you how to prepare delicious chicken wraps, using large soft flatbreads as a base, with a tasty and light filling, very similar to those you usually find in the most famous fast food restaurants in Italy!
Again, I recommend trying the recipe and, as always, I await your opinions on my Instagram@isaporidicasa.

- Difficulty: Easy
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 2 wraps
- Cooking methods: Grill
- Cuisine: Steakhouse
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads (Large, soft)
- 7 oz chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 vine tomato
- Half red onion
- 1 clove garlic (Small)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 oz sour cream
Tools
- Bowl
- Grill pan
Steps
First, cut the chicken breast into strips
Then put the meat in the bowl with the smoked paprika, parsley, finely minced garlic clove, add a drizzle of oil and season with salt and pepper.
Mix carefully, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
After the resting time, grill the chicken strips on a hot grill
put the meat on a plate and set aside
And now let’s focus on our chicken wrap. First, heat the flatbread on both sides in a skillet over low heat for a minute. Then place the flatbread on the work surface and spread sour cream on top, or alternatively you can replace it with mayonnaise
place on half of the flatbread the iceberg lettuce, three tomato slices, red onion rings, and chicken strips
Fold half of the flatbread towards the filling and then roll it up forming our chicken wrap. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
