The Nutella roll is one of the favorite desserts among children but also appreciated by adults.
Personally, I like the Nutella roll soaked in alchermes, but not everyone agrees.
I have therefore decided to present the classic version which we have also recently used as a birthday cake.
In these challenging times, it’s better to present desserts already divided into individual servings, and the Nutella roll is perfect for this.
For Nutella lovers, I recommend checking out the recipes in the top list and for those who love to prepare homemade breakfast desserts.

Nutella Roll Ingredients
The roll consists of only four ingredients!
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 11.3 oz Nutella®
Preparing the Batter
The preparation of the batter is simple and quick, the important thing is to properly separate the yolks from the whites.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and add sugar to the yolks, beating until they lighten.
Add the flour with the baking powder.
Whip the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the previous batter.
Spread the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 10 minutes or until the surface is golden.
Remove from the oven and flip the batter onto the table, remove the parchment paper, and cover with Nutella.
Roll the batter onto itself with the help of the parchment paper, wrap it tightly and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Before serving, bring the roll to room temperature and dust with some powdered sugar.
NOTES
After letting the roll rest in the fridge, you can prepare it even two days in advance, just keep it well covered, bring it to room temperature, and serve with some powdered sugar.
