Cheese Eggs in Air Fryer

The cheese eggs cooked in a hot air fryer are an easy and quick way to enjoy eggs. This recipe is ideal for any time of the day, especially if you’re craving eggs: for breakfast, a snack, or a main meal. I cooked the eggs inside ceramic ramekins (that can be used for oven cooking); I then served the eggs on slices of toasted bread with chopped chives. You can enjoy the eggs garnished with your favorite sauce.

  • 0.35 oz grated parmesan cheese (or other cheese of choice)
  • 2 slices bread
  • to taste chives
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Steps

  • To make the cheese eggs in an air fryer, use a brush to lightly grease two ramekins (that can be used for oven cooking).

  • Sprinkle some cheese on the ramekins’ surface and then crack the eggs into the ramekins.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and top with the remaining grated cheese to cover the egg surface.

  • Gently place the ramekins inside the basket of the hot air fryer and cook at 356°F for 6-7 minutes, until the egg whites are set, and the yolks are runny or cooked to your liking.

  • Remove the ramekins from the air fryer and let them rest for a minute (the egg will continue to cook).

  • To remove the eggs from the ramekins, gently detach the eggs from the edges with a spatula and lift them out.

  • Serve the eggs with toasted bread, garnish with chives and your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
