Cheese Eggs in Air Fryer

Cheese eggs cooked in a hot air fryer are an easy and quick way to enjoy eggs. This recipe is ideal for any time of day, especially if you’re craving eggs: for breakfast, a snack, or a main meal. I cooked the eggs inside ceramic ramekins (which can be used for oven baking); I then served the eggs on slices of toasted bread with chopped chives. You can enjoy the eggs with sauce of your choice.

Cheese Eggs in Air Fryer
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 1 Person
  • Cooking methods: Air Frying

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (or other cheese of choice)
  • 2 slices bread
  • to taste chives
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Tools

  • Ramekin
  • Brush
  • Air Fryer

Steps

  • To make cheese eggs in an air fryer, use a brush to grease two ramekins (which can be used for oven baking).

  • Sprinkle a bit of cheese on the surface of the ramekins and then crack the eggs into the ramekins.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and top with the remaining grated cheese to cover the eggs.

  • Gently place the ramekins inside the hot air fryer’s basket and cook at 356°F for 6 – 7 minutes, until the egg white is set, and the yolk is runny or to your desired doneness.

  • Remove the ramekins from the air fryer and let them rest for a minute (the egg will continue to cook).

  • To remove the eggs from the ramekins, use a spatula to gently release the eggs from the edges and lift them out.

  • Serve the eggs with toasted bread, garnish with chives and your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
