Pork Rolls with Broccoli Rabe

Pork rolls with broccoli rabe are ideal for a tasty main course and offer a different way to enjoy vegetables with meat. This recipe requires just a little patience, it’s very simple to cook them, and you’ll serve a rich dish that’s hard to resist for seconds!

Pork Rolls with Broccoli Rabe

Ingredients

  • 8 slices pork loin
  • 1 bunch broccoli rabe
  • 1.76 oz stracchino cheese
  • as needed flour
  • Half onion
  • Half glass white wine
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil
  • as needed salt

Steps

  • To prepare the pork rolls with broccoli rabe, wash and clean the broccoli rabe, cook them in plenty of boiling water. Once ready, drain them in a colander and let them cool slightly.

  • Mash the broccoli rabe with a fork in a bowl or blend them, whichever is more convenient for you. Add the stracchino cheese and salt.

  • Flour the slices of meat, spread them out, and fill them with the vegetables and stracchino. Roll each slice onto itself and close the ends with toothpicks.

  • In a pot, lightly brown the chopped onion with a drizzle of oil. Then add the rolls and deglaze with white wine.

  • Add a tablespoon of water and cook for twenty minutes. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
