Roasted almonds are loved by both adults and children and are ideal to enjoy as a snack. In this recipe, I explain how to peel and roast almonds in the oven, in a pan, or in an air fryer. Moreover, roasted almonds are very versatile in the kitchen; they can be used to create sweet and savory dishes, such as homemade almond butter, brittle, or almond cake.

Steps
Before roasting the almonds, they need to be peeled. Bring a pot of water to boil, then add the almonds and boil them for a couple of minutes.
Afterwards, drain them, place them in a bowl, and remove the skin from each almond.
Dry the almonds with a clean cloth or paper towels.
Line the oven tray with parchment paper and place the almonds in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven at 392°F until golden brown, about 15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat, then add the almonds in a single layer.
Roast the almonds in the pan, turning them often until they become a nice golden color.
Place the almonds in the air fryer’s basket and roast them at 392°F for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
