Apple Brownies

The apple brownies are lactose-free treats with an autumn fragrance. I made these brownies inspired by the spicy taste of apple pie: a mixture of flour, eggs, and sugar, flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg, to which I added diced apples. I then enriched the surface with nuts and baked. In just a few minutes, and with simplicity, you’ll have a delicate apple dessert with a soft texture, ideal for breakfast.

  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 9 pieces
  • Cooking methods: Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/3 cup sunflower oil (or 7 tbsp lactose-free butter)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 apples
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts

Tools

  • Baking Pan

Steps

  • To make the apple brownies, in a bowl beat the eggs with sugar and honey.

  • Peel the apples, remove the cores, and dice them, then incorporate them into the mixture.

  • Then add the oil and vanilla extract, stirring continuously. Finally, add the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until a smooth mixture is achieved.

  • Pour the mixture into a baking pan (8×8 inches) lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle a mix of nuts on the surface.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes, use a toothpick to check the baking; it should come out with a few crumbs. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool.

  • Cut into 9 pieces and enjoy the brownies. Enjoy!
