The pork loin stew with beer is a delicious and enveloping second course, with slow cooking that makes the meat very tender and flavorful, thanks also to sweet paprika which, with beer, creates a perfect combination of flavors!
Once again, I recommend trying the recipe and, as always, I look forward to your feedback on my Instagram @isaporidicasa.

- Difficulty: Easy
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 4 people
- Cooking methods: Slow cook
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork loin
- 1.7 cups light beer
- Half onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 tbsps sweet paprika
- 3 tbsps flour
- 2 ladles meat broth
- 1 sprig rosemary
- salt
- pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- Casserole
Steps
Cut the pork loin into small, equal pieces
Place the pieces in a bowl with the flour and sweet paprika, mix carefully and set aside
Put the chopped carrot, celery, and onion in the casserole, add a drizzle of oil, and let it turn golden
Add the meat and let it brown over low heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently
At this point, pour in the light beer, increase the heat and let it evaporate. Add the rosemary sprig.
Add the hot meat broth, lower the heat and let the meat simmer for about an hour and a half. The cooking time clearly depends on the cut and consistency of the meat, so pay attention to the cooking, stirring from time to time. When the meat has formed a very creamy cooking base and penetrates easily into the stew, it is ready. Adjust with salt and pepper. Serve the pork loin stew with beer with toasted polenta and enjoy your meal!
