Recipes with Nutella
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Rest time: 30 Minutes
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 4 Pieces
- Cooking methods: Oven
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Half packet baking powder
- 1/3 cup Nutella® (or preferred hazelnut spread)
Tools
- Tart Molds
- Pastry Ring
Steps
To make the Nutella tarts, pour the flour and sugar into a bowl.
Start kneading by adding the softened butter. Add the eggs and lastly the baking powder. Work with your hands, or with a stand mixer, until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch and use a pastry ring (or a cup) with a diameter of 4.7 inches to cut out discs.
Place the discs into the tart molds of about 4 inches in diameter, previously greased.
Press the mixture well onto the bottom and along the edges, remove any excess dough. Prick the bottom of the tarts with a fork, fill the tarts with Nutella, leaving the edge free.
Use the dough scraps to make strips to form a lattice on the tarts.
Put the tarts in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This will help achieve a creamy filling.
Bake the tarts in a preheated oven at 356°F for 20 minutes, until golden. Enjoy!
