- Difficulty: Easy
- Rest time: 4 Hours
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 6
- Cooking methods: No cooking
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Summer
Ingredients
- 8.8 oz crackers
- 5 oz butter
- Half melon
- 5.3 oz soft cheese (Like Crescenza)
- 3.2 oz prosciutto
- pepper
- mint (For garnish)
Tools
- Melon baller
- 6 Molds For TARTLETS 4 inches in diameter
Steps
Melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave and let it cool. Meanwhile, in the food processor, grind the crackers to a fine powder.
Transfer the mixture to the bowl with the melted butter and a pinch of pepper. Mix carefully until you obtain a compact mixture.
Transfer the mixture to the base and along the edges of the molds, pressing well with the back of a spoon. Let it rest for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Cut the ham slices into strips and form rosettes. With the help of a melon baller, make balls from the melon flesh.
Remove the tartlets from the molds. Spread the soft cheese over each base, then add the melon balls, ham rosettes, and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your meal! You can find the video recipe HERE on my Instagram profile @isaporidicasa
