  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Rest time: 4 Hours
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 6
  • Cooking methods: No cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Summer

Ingredients

  • 8.8 oz crackers
  • 5 oz butter
  • Half melon
  • 5.3 oz soft cheese (Like Crescenza)
  • 3.2 oz prosciutto
  • pepper
  • mint (For garnish)

Tools

  • Melon baller
  • 6 Molds For TARTLETS 4 inches in diameter

Steps

  • Melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave and let it cool. Meanwhile, in the food processor, grind the crackers to a fine powder.

  • Transfer the mixture to the bowl with the melted butter and a pinch of pepper. Mix carefully until you obtain a compact mixture.

  • Transfer the mixture to the base and along the edges of the molds, pressing well with the back of a spoon. Let it rest for 4 hours in the refrigerator.

  • Cut the ham slices into strips and form rosettes. With the help of a melon baller, make balls from the melon flesh.

  • Remove the tartlets from the molds. Spread the soft cheese over each base, then add the melon balls, ham rosettes, and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your meal! You can find the video recipe HERE on my Instagram profile @isaporidicasa
