Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz pitted dates
  • 0.7 oz toasted almonds
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • to taste grated coconut (shredded)

Tools

  • Blender

Steps

  • To make the date and almond truffles, toast the peeled almonds in a preheated oven at 392°F until golden, or in an air fryer at 392°F for about 10 minutes.

  • In a blender bowl, add the dates and cocoa, and blend everything until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

  • Coarsely chop the almonds and add them to the date and cocoa mixture. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour.

  • Then, take a little of the mixture with your hands, or with the help of a teaspoon, and form balls the size of a walnut, or the desired size.

  • Place the balls on a tray lined with baking paper. Once the mixture is finished, roll each ball in grated coconut.

  • Place the truffles in the refrigerator and serve as needed. Enjoy!
