Pork Loin Rolls Stuffed with Dried Fruit

Pork loin rolls stuffed with dried fruit are rich and tasty bites that create a blend of sweet and savory flavors. I made pork loin rolls filled with dried plums, dried figs, and walnuts, previously macerated in Marsala. Then I cooked the rolls in a pan, letting them evaporate with the Marsala, and cooked with rosemary and honey. An easy recipe to make that will win over your guests!

Pork Loin Rolls Stuffed with Dried Fruit

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of pork loin (thin)
  • 8 dried plums (pitted)
  • 8 dried figs
  • 8 walnut halves
  • 1 tbsp Marsala
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Steps

  • To make the pork loin rolls stuffed with dried fruit, cut the plums and figs into cubes. Coarsely chop the walnuts.

  • Pour the dried fruit into a bowl, add the Marsala, mix with a spoon, and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

  • Fill the pork loin slices with a spoonful of dried fruit. Fold the two long sides of the slices inward and then roll the meat over itself to obtain a roll. Secure the rolls with a toothpick.

  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the rosemary. Place on low heat, add the rolls, and brown them on all sides.

  • Then evaporate with the Marsala used to marinate the dried fruit, add the honey and a small cup of water. Continue cooking on low heat for 10 minutes and salt at the end of cooking.

  • Remove the toothpicks and serve the rolls at the table. Enjoy your meal!
