Meat skewers with blueberry sauce are delightful finger food to cook and enjoy, for example, at a barbecue with friends and family. I made the skewers using chicken, sausages, and bell peppers, then marinated them with aromatic herbs. I then cooked a sweet and sour blueberry sauce that I used to brush on the skewers while cooking, as well as enjoy at the table with meat and vegetables. With this recipe, you will win over all the diners!

Steps
To make the meat skewers with blueberry sauce, cut the chicken breast into pieces and chop the sausages.
Wash and clean the bell peppers, then cut them into squares about 0.8 inches.
In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic, pepper, and all the aromatic herbs. Mix with a spoon to make a blend to season the skewers.
Skewer the ingredients, alternating a piece of sausage, a piece of red bell pepper, then a piece of chicken breast, a piece of yellow bell pepper, and another piece of chicken. Continue until the ingredients are used up.
Coat the skewers with the herb mix on all sides. Place the skewers on a plate and let rest for at least 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the blueberry sauce. Pour the blueberries and all the other ingredients into a saucepan and place over low heat.
Bring to a boil and cook on low, uncovered, until it thickens, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, pour into a bowl, and let cool.
Grill the skewers, cooking them on all sides and brushing with the blueberry sauce.
Once the skewers are cooked, serve them at the table with the remaining blueberry sauce. Enjoy your meal!
