Homemade Peanut Butter
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 200 g jar

Ingredients

  • 8.82 oz peanuts (shelled)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • Blender

Steps

  • To make the peanut butter, shell the peanuts and remove their skins.

  • Spread the peanuts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and roast them in a preheated oven (I use a fan oven) at 320°F until golden, about 5-10 minutes.

  • Alternatively, place them in the basket of an air fryer and toast them at 392°F for about 5 minutes.

  • Once toasted, let them cool. Then, pour the toasted peanuts into a blender (or food processor) and start the blades at low speed.

  • Add honey and oil to the peanuts and continue blending until you get a creamy mixture.

  • To avoid overloading the blender, if it heats up, take small breaks.

  • Pour the peanut butter into a glass jar with a lid.

  • Peanut butter can be stored in the refrigerator for a month.

  • Note: If you like, you can add a pinch of salt or flavor it with cinnamon.
