Chicken with Spiced Carrots

The chicken with spiced carrots is a rich and tasty main course that’s easy to make. For this recipe, I cooked the carrots in a skillet with curry and paprika, while the chicken was grilled on a grill pan. Finally, I combined the chicken with the carrots and sautéed it in the pan. With just a few simple ingredients, you can bring a flavorful dish to the table!

Ingredients

  • 10.6 oz chicken breast (sliced)
  • 12.3 oz carrots
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

Preparation

  • To make chicken with spiced carrots, wash and clean the carrots, then peel and slice them. In a skillet, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, curry, paprika, garlic, and chopped parsley.

  • Place the skillet over low heat, add a ladle of water, and cook to dissolve the spices and create a sauce.

  • Add the carrots and cook over moderate heat for about ten minutes.

  • Cook the chicken breast slices on the grill pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Once cooked and well browned, remove them from the pan and cut them into strips.

  • Pour the chicken into the skillet with the carrots and remove the garlic.

  • Sauté in the skillet to combine the chicken with the carrots and season with salt. Enjoy your meal!
