Steps to Prepare Air Fryer Carrot Slices
Wash and peel the carrots.
Slice them into rounds about 0.4 inches thick (you can make them thinner for reduced cooking times, as I explain in the tips).
Put the slices in a bowl and season with oil, salt, and oregano to taste. Mix well.Preheat the air fryer to 356°F.
Arrange the carrots in a baking dish and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even browning.
Storage
Air fryer cooked carrots can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 2-3 days. To keep them crispy, reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving again.
Tips
For even faster cooking and extra crispiness, you can cut the carrots into smaller slices: cooking times are halved, so they’ll be ready in about 10 minutes.
Remember to check the cooking often, as thinner slices can burn more easily.
