The banana and date cream, delicate and nutritious, is prepared in just a few minutes with a blender and only requires 2 ingredients. There’s no need to add sugar because dates naturally sweeten this delicious cream that you can use in many ways.

It’s a soft cream that can be eaten at breakfast with fresh fruit and cereals or given to children for a snack, or cleverly used to make delicious cakes, fill fruit tarts instead of custard, or create unique puddings.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 3 dates

Steps

  • 1 – Cut the ripe bananas into pieces and place them in the blender with the pitted dates.

    2 – Blend the fruit for a minute until you get a smooth cream.

    3 – Serve the banana and date cream accompanied with more fresh fruit and cereals, or use it as an ingredient in a cake or instead of custard to fill fruit tarts.

    4 – The quantities in this recipe are for 2 people, but if necessary and depending on how you will use it, double or triple the quantities.
