Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Homemade Peach Iced Tea is a tasty beverage that’s very easy to make. To obtain a fragrant and flavorful tea, I recommend using organic, untreated, and very juicy peaches. You can use either tea bags or loose leaf tea, at your preference. Read the procedure and discover how easy it is to make peach iced tea, you won’t be able to do without it anymore!

Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 3 Peaches
  • 2 cups Water
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • as needed Ice
  • 4 1/4 cups Water
  • 2 bags Tea

Tools

  • Sieve
  • Pitcher

Preparation

  • To make the peach iced tea, wash and clean the peaches. Pit them and cut them into cubes without removing the skin.

  • In a pan, pour 2 cups of water with the honey and the peaches. Place the pan on the stove and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes until the skin starts to separate from the pulp.

  • Meanwhile, in another pot, boil 4 1/4 cups of water, then infuse the tea bags (or loose leaf tea) for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let it cool.

  • Once the peach mixture is cooked, remove it from the heat. Then pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, and using a fork, mash the peaches. Collect the obtained juice in a bowl and let it cool.

  • In a pitcher, combine the peach juice and the tea, and place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill.

  • Serve the peach iced tea with ice. Enjoy!
