Apple and Chocolate Cookies

The apple and chocolate cookies are healthy and nutritious cookies, made without butter and eggs.

The peculiarity of these cookies is that apple pulp is used in the dough, making the cookie soft and very tasty. If you often make fruit juices or smoothies, you can also use the leftover pulp that is usually discarded.

With this recipe, you will get delicious cookies, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Apple and Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1.75 oz apple pulp
  • 1/3 cup rice milk
  • 3.5 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 oz dark chocolate

Preparation

  • To make the apple and chocolate cookies, thoroughly wash the apple, remove the core, peel it, and cut the pulp into cubes. Place it in a blender with the rice milk, blend until smooth.

  • In a bowl, beat the brown sugar with the oil. Then add the apple and milk mixture, continuing to mix to combine the ingredients.

  • Sift the flour with the baking powder, and gradually add them to the liquid mixture. Finally, add the dark chocolate cut into pieces. The mixture should be homogeneous and soft. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  • Remove from the refrigerator and, using a spoon, scoop out some dough, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, trying to make balls and spacing them apart.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20 minutes until golden. Once the cookies are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool.

  • For those with an air fryer, bake the cookies in the air fryer at 320°F for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Store them in a cookie jar. Enjoy!
