Soft Christmas Tart

Soft Christmas Tart is a delicious and simple dessert to make; an easy cake to prepare that everyone will love. A soft red base and a delicious filling made with cream and mascarpone.

To decorate it, I chose sugar decorations, but we can use fresh fruit like red currants or raspberries

Ingredients

Let’s see together what we need to prepare

  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • as needed red food coloring (in gel)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3.5 oz mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Steps

Let’s start to prepare

Soft Christmas Tart

To prepare the soft Christmas tart we must start with the soft base.

Work the eggs together with the sugar using a hand whisk.

When the eggs are fluffy, add the milk and vegetable oil.
Mix again and add the all-purpose flour a little at a time, continuing to mix.

  • Add the baking powder and mix.
    Finally, add the red food coloring in gel, mix the batter again and pour it into the furbo mold previously greased and floured.

    Bake the soft tart in a preheated oven, static mode at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
    Once cooked, let it cool before removing it from the mold.

    HOW TO MAKE THE MASCARPONE AND CREAM

    Whip the cream with the whisks and after a couple of minutes start adding the powdered sugar gradually.

    When it is well whipped, add the mascarpone. Incorporate it with the whisks. Then work it with a spatula to make it smooth and rich.

    The cream for the soft Christmas tart is ready.

    When our base is well chilled, decorate it with our filling, and add the sugar decorations.
