- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 10 Pieces
- Cooking methods: Oven
Ingredients
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 4.2 oz Rice
- 2 tablespoons ragù
- 1 tablespoon grated pecorino cheese
- 10 Cherry Mozzarella Balls
- to taste Oregano
Preparation
To make the puff pastry rolls, cook the rice in boiling salted water, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the pot and following the cooking time indicated on the package.
Once ready, drain and let it cool slightly. Then season it with ragù and grated pecorino cheese.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet, with the long side facing you, distribute the rice over the bottom edge, then roll the puff pastry, always from the longer side, and cut slices about 1.2 inches thick, making a total of 10.
Transfer the rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place a mozzarella ball in the center of each, pressing gently to sink it into the rice.
Add a sprinkle of oregano on each roll and bake in the preheated oven at 392°F for about 15 minutes, until the pastry is golden.
Serve warm and enjoy your meal!
