Mascarpone and Nutella Millefeuille

The mascarpone and Nutella millefeuille is a very delicious dessert that will be appreciated by the whole family and especially by those who love sweets.

Perfect for any occasion, it doesn’t require much time to make if you use ready-made puff pastry. I like to make individual portions of the millefeuille, so I create many rectangles and then stack them.

If you want to make a single dessert, a cake for an occasion, you can use multiple rolls of rectangular puff pastry and stack them, following the same procedure I propose below.

Recipes with Nutella

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 People
  • Cooking methods: Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 roll Puff Pastry
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 3/8 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • to taste Nutella®
  • to taste Milk
  • to taste Powdered Sugar

Preparation

  • To make the Mascarpone and Nutella Millefeuille, take the puff pastry, roll it out, and cut it into squares or rectangles of your preferred size. In this case, I cut them to 5 inches in length and 2 3/4 inches wide.

  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick the pastry with a fork. Brush with milk and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

  • In a bowl, mix the mascarpone with the sugar until you get a cream. Then add the whipped cream, incorporating it with an upward motion.

  • Once the pastries are cooked, proceed to assemble the millefeuille: alternate a pastry layer, a layer of mascarpone cream, and a teaspoon of hazelnut cream melted in a bain-marie. Finish with the mascarpone cream and garnish with the hazelnut cream.

  • For each millefeuille you will need to use two/three rectangles of puff pastry. Store in the fridge. Enjoy!
