Pasta with cream, asparagus, and sausage is a delicious and easy-to-make main course. For this recipe, I prefer short pasta (in this case, I used half sleeves), but of course, you can use any pasta you like. Living in the countryside, I usually take the opportunity to pick asparagus and stock up for the year; my favorites are the wild ones. This pasta with asparagus and sausage is the perfect union between winter nostalgics and those who love spring, a succulent main course that will please everyone at the table!

In a pan, over low heat, sauté the chopped onion with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Add the crumbled sausage and brown it.
Also add the asparagus, a ladle of hot water, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 8/10 minutes. Finally, incorporate the cream.
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water; once cooked (preferably al dente) drain it and add it to the pan with the sauce.
Stir to mix all the ingredients well until you get a creamy sauce.
Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
