Flatbread with Kebab

There are many types and ways to eat kebab. The recipe I propose today, unlike the kebab you eat in fast food places, is very light. I marinate mixed meat (beef and chicken) for a few hours, then cook it in a pan and fill the flatbread with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and sauce to your liking. I find the flatbread with kebab irresistible and finishing it is immensely sad, I could eat it endlessly!

Steps

  • To make the flatbread with kebab, you can make the flatbreads at home, to learn more go to the recipe: how to make flatbreads at home.

  • Cut the two types of meat into strips, place them in a large bowl, add the spices and herbs, a sprinkle of black pepper, a pinch of salt, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

  • Mix well and marinate for at least two hours. I usually prepare the meat for lunch and let it marinate all day, then cook it for dinner.

  • In a non-stick pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the meat. Put on low heat and cook the meat. In the last minutes, raise the heat and toss the meat in the pan to brown it well.

  • Heat the flatbreads (on both sides) on the special pan, season the flatbreads with sauces to your liking, I added yogurt sauce and mayonnaise.

  • Then add the chopped lettuce and diced cherry tomatoes. Add the meat, roll up the flatbread using aluminum foil. Serve and enjoy your meal!
