The Strawberry and Cream Dome is a very delicate and simple dessert to make. It can be presented on any occasion and will be very appreciated by both adults and children. You can get creative with the decoration. Only a few simple ingredients are needed, and it will bring light and color to your table. My boyfriend goes crazy for it, and who can blame him!

Ingredients
- 6 Eggs
- 1.25 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 6 tablespoons Hot water
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 packages Strawberries
- to taste Milk
- 2 cups Fresh heavy cream

Preparation
To make the Strawberry and Cream Dome, separate the egg yolks from the whites into two separate bowls. In one bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding 50 grams of sugar. In the other bowl, beat the yolks with hot water and gradually add the remaining 150 grams of sugar.
Add the vanilla extract to the yolks and mix well. Combine the egg whites with the yolks, mixing carefully with an upward motion. Finally, gradually add the flour.
Line a 9-inch pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture, leveling the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes, until golden, and do the toothpick test.
Once cooked, leave it in the turned-off oven with the door slightly open for about 30 minutes. Watch the video to make a perfect sponge cake at home.Cut the sponge cake into two layers, obtaining three pieces that will facilitate assembling the dome.
Whip the cream, setting aside a small bowl in the fridge, which will be used to coat the dome. Wash and cut the strawberries into pieces, leaving some aside for decoration.
Line a 8-inch dome mold with plastic wrap, place pieces of sponge cake soaked in milk at the bottom and sides. Then alternate a layer of cream, a layer of strawberries, and a layer of sponge cake (always soaked in milk). Finish with the sponge cake. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.
After the resting time, take a serving plate and flip the Strawberry and Cream Dome. Remove the plastic wrap, garnish the dessert with whipped cream, and decorate with strawberries and whipped cream dollops.
You can decorate with chocolate shavings.
