Roman-style Semolina Gnocchi with Salmon

This Roman-style semolina gnocchi with salmon recipe is not only very simple but also a different way to enjoy a classic dish from our cuisine: semolina gnocchi.
It was created spontaneously at a friend’s house: I wanted to use semolina to make simple gnocchi,
she had smoked salmon that was expiring that day, and in a flash, we thought of combining the two ingredients.
Now I await your feedback, and I hope this ‘new idea’ will please you… Have a nice day!

  • Let it cool for a few minutes and then add the egg yolks one at a time, continuing to stir.

Now add 5.3 oz of chopped salmon and mix everything well.

Now, with a moist cookie cutter or a similar round tool, cut out the gnocchi and place them in a previously buttered tray.

  • Now pour the béchamel with the remaining finely chopped smoked salmon, season with salt, and add a few knobs of butter.

Bake for about 15 minutes at 392 °F, just enough time to brown everything!
