At the ripe old age of 20, my son Andrea has discovered and fallen in love with Nesquik, which for me has always been a childhood food suitable for the kids of my little sister Annamaria and certainly not for a big guy of 6’1″ with a beard and mustache!
Anyway, the young man makes me buy packages of Nestlé’s powdered chocolate and here is the Nesquik cake!
I filled the soft and delicious Nesquik cake (because I certainly couldn’t make it without filling, ha ha) with whipped cream, indeed semi-whipped sweetened with powdered sugar, but you can add chocolate cream, mascarpone whipped cream and sugar, chocolate ganache…

NESQUIK CAKE RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 3 eggs (medium)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup Nesquik
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (I use corn)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (Pane degli Angeli)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- to taste chocolate chips
- to taste butter (for the pan)
- to taste flour (for the pan)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- to taste powdered sugar

NESQUIK CAKE RECIPE PREPARATION
For the Nesquik cake first of all, beat well and long with the electric whisks the eggs with the sugar.
The mixture will become light and fluffy.
Then add sifted Nesquik.
I added it with the spatula, but you can also mix it into the batter with the whisks… it’s your choice!
Slowly add the milk and the light-flavored vegetable oil… You can do this operation either by hand or with the whisks ^_^
Sift the all-purpose flour with the baking powder and add it in several batches to the Nesquik mixture.
(I won’t repeat it, but… okay, okay, you already got it!)
When the Nesquik cake mixture is fluid, smooth, and homogeneous, pour it into the 8-inch previously buttered and floured cake pan.
Level it well, add the chocolate chips, and put it immediately in the already hot oven.
The oven temperature will be 340°F and the baking time for me was about 35 minutes, but as always, be attentive to the characteristics of your ^_*!
While the Nesquik cake bakes, I whipped, keeping it still soft, the heavy cream adding a little powdered sugar and mixing everything well.
Once baked, remove the Nesquik cake from the oven and then cut it and fill it with the cream…
It’s delicious!!!!!!!!

The cake baked in the 8-inch pan becomes very tall and therefore… you can fill it twice or soak it a little with a mix of light rum and water or kirsch (cherry-based liqueur) and water.
