- 1 1/8 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (Cannot be substituted)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 7/8 cup milk
- 3 1/2 oz dark chocolate
- 1/3 cup chocolate sprinkles
- as needed milk for soaking

Steps for the brigadeiro cake
To make this delicious Brazilian cake, first prepare the chocolate cake. In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar, vanilla, and eggs with electric beaters for a few minutes. Add the oil and continue mixing, then add the milk and mix again carefully. Finally, add the sifted all-purpose flour and unsweetened cocoa powder, and lastly, add the baking powder and fine salt and mix thoroughly to obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter. Butter and flour a 10×10 inches pan and pour the batter. Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 35 minutes, do the toothpick test.
In a saucepan, pour the condensed milk with the milk, cocoa powder, and mix carefully. Bring to the heat and let cook until it boils, always stirring with the whisk. Finally, add the chopped dark chocolate and let it melt completely while continuing to stir carefully. Turn off the heat and let cool with plastic wrap in contact.
Cut the cake in half and moisten with milk or sugar water syrup, pour half of the chocolate cream and level it well, close with the remaining layer of cake always slightly moistened with milk or water and sugar, and pour the remaining cream and level uniformly. Place the cake in the fridge to set for 5-6 hours or overnight.
Spread the chocolate sprinkles over the surface of the cream and serve.

STORAGE, TIPS AND NOTES
