BAKED PASTA WITH ASPARAGUS HAM AND SMOKED CHEESE

Ingredients RECIPE BAKED PASTA WITH ASPARAGUS HAM AND SMOKED CHEESE

  • 11.3 oz ridged sedanini
  • 1 bunch asparagus (about 500 grams)
  • 5.6 oz prosciutto (cut into pieces)
  • 7 smoked cheese (for me provola)
  • q.b. extra virgin olive oil
  • q.b. grana padano (grated)
  • q.b. salt and pepper

  • High-sided saucepan

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE BAKED PASTA RECIPE WITH ASPARAGUS HAM AND SMOKED CHEESE

  • Clean the asparagus and cut them into not too small pieces.

    Also slice the smoked cheese into cubes and the prosciutto into strips or… as you prefer! ^_*

  • Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan and at the right time pour the sedanini macaroni as I did or some gramigna, penne or…

  • 5 minutes before the end of cooking, add the asparagus to the water and continue for the necessary time.

    While the pasta is cooking, place the pieces of prosciutto and smoked cheese in a large bowl.

  • When the pasta is cooked, drain it and place it in the bowl with the dressing, adding extra virgin olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.

  • Mix well then pour the dressed pasta into the greased baking dish, sprinkling everything with grated cheese.

  • Now all that’s left to do is bake the baked pasta with asparagus ham and smoked cheese, letting it cook at 356°F for about 15 minutes, taking care in the last few minutes to set the oven to grill mode to get a nice and delicious crust!
