Steps to Make Greek Yogurt Rolls

Ready in 20 minutes! You’ll just need a bowl, a spoon, and the air fryer.

  • Pour the Greek yogurt into a large bowl.
Add the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and a pinch of salt.
Mix with a spoon, then knead with your hands until you get a smooth and compact dough. If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  • Divide the dough into 4 or 2 equal parts.
    Shape into smooth balls.
Brush the surface with a little milk.
Sprinkle with mixed seeds of your choice, pressing lightly to adhere.

  • Place the rolls in the air fryer basket (better on parchment paper or a perforated mat), leaving space between each.

  • Cook at 355°F for 15/17 minutes, until golden.

How to Store Greek Yogurt Rolls

I recommend preparing the rolls and enjoying them immediately, but if you want to store them for the next day, keep them in a food bag or airtight container. When you’re ready to eat them, you can reheat them for a few minutes in the air fryer or oven to restore crispiness.

Tips and Variations

• You can substitute part of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat or spelt flour for a more rustic version.
• Add spices or dried herbs to the dough, such as oregano, paprika, or rosemary.
• Also great in a sweet version, with a teaspoon of sugar and no salt (try them with jam or spreadable cream!).

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Can I bake them in a traditional oven?

Of course! Bake at 355°F static for about 20 minutes.

  • Can instant yeast be replaced with brewer’s yeast?

Better not: instant yeast allows you to skip the rising process. If you use brewer’s yeast, the entire procedure changes.
Rather, replace it with a teaspoon of baking soda.
