Licorice Cream Homemade Liqueur Recipe

And after the classic licorice liqueur today I’ve prepared, and it will certainly be one of the delicious gifts I’ll give to friends for birthdays and annual holidays, this licorice cream homemade liqueur recipe, low in alcohol, delicious, and perfect when drunk cold.

It will be a comforting digestif on the long winter evenings ahead and exquisite on warm summer evenings, but let’s see right away what ingredients are needed for this preparation.

Making homemade liqueurs is quite simple, but it is essential to always have excellent high-quality ingredients. The preparation is almost always the same with making a syrup of water and sugar and with the maceration of the base ingredient in alcohol at 90 and/or 95% .

VERY USEFUL TIPS FOR LICORICE CREAM LIQUEUR

• You must let the preparation macerate with the essence, then it’s combined with the syrup, and after some time, here’s the liqueur to drink as a digestif and after dinner!

• It MUST be drunk very cold!

• It’s a delicious homemade digestif.

• It keeps for many months stored in an airtight bottle in the refrigerator or freezer.

• If you can’t find pure alcohol at 95°, you can use vodka.

P.S. Be careful with licorice if you suffer from high blood pressure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 TIPS FOR PRESERVES
1) Use only vegetables that are in perfect condition, preferably not too ripe.
2) Carefully wash and clean them well. Vegetables, while waiting to be processed, can be left in acidulated water with lemon or vinegar.
3) Wash and sterilize the jars beforehand before filling them.
4) Blanch the product in an acidic bath unless it’s ready-made dishes that require cooking the ingredients.
5) Sterilize the preserves, whatever the filling liquid (oil, vinegar, cooking liquid, or brines).
6) Immediately after cooling, check the integrity of the closure. Capsule tops should appear slightly concave due to the formation of a vacuum inside the jar.
7) Store the preserves in a cool place away from light.
8) Consume the products soon, on average after a couple of months, so that any alteration has time to manifest.
9) Avoid consumption if the lid appears swollen due to the presence of internal gas, or if you notice spots and abnormal colors.
10) Consume the opened preserve quickly, keeping it in the refrigerator. Ready dishes preserved in their cooking liquid should be consumed within a few days (2-3 maximum): oil-preserved and vinegar-preserved lasts longer, topping up the liquid. In no case should preserves served and not consumed be reintroduced into the jars.
