Ingredients RECIPE OMELETTE ROLLS

  • 8 medium eggs
  • 12 slices speck
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (or potato starch)
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • Parsley (chopped)
  • 12 slices Parmigiano slices (or scamorza or …)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 3.5 fl oz Milk (I use Zymil)
  • Extra virgin olive oil (for the mold)

  • Mixer

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE OMELETTE ROLLS

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F In a bowl, beat the whole eggs, cornstarch, grated Parmesan, and milk. Blend the liquids well, mixing the mixture as best as possible.

  • Add the fresh chopped parsley, mixing well and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Brush the bottom of the baking tray with olive oil and pour in the egg mixture.

  • Bake for about 12/13 minutes the simple egg OMELETTE and let everything cool down.

    Turn the cooked circle onto a pastry board and cut 12 wedges of omelette with a knife.

  • Stuff each wedge of omelette with a slice of cheese wrap everything and cover the roll with the speck slice.

    Place the omelette rolls on a plate lined with parchment paper and grill them for a few minutes, just long enough to melt the chosen cheese.

  • When cooking is finished, let cool for a few minutes and serve the omelette rolls on the table, which you will find delicious even at room temperature.
