Salmon and Avocado Christmas Appetizer tree-shaped…what do you think of my edible little tree huh huh??
It’s clearly not a recipe but just a cute and very easy way to serve a tasty appetizer that is not heavy and full of great nutrients like Omega 3 and many antioxidants during the end-of-year holidays lunches and dinners.
Avocado and salmon are a good match to which you can also add fennel, olives for a different salad…in short, it’s a versatile and appetizing combination!

Preparation for SALMON AND AVOCADO CHRISTMAS APPETIZER
Carefully separate the red currant without breaking the berries.
Peel the avocado, remove the pit, and cut it into slices that are not too thick.
Make many strips with the slice of smoked salmon, rolling them into a rose shape (well, almost huh huh).
Compose the Christmas tree of salmon and avocado as shown in the picture and then sprinkle everything with currant berries, which with their tartness go perfectly with the sweetness and creaminess of the other ingredients.
At the end of this quick and cute appetizer, add some sprigs of dill here and there and season with vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
Enjoy your meal!

P.S. Personally, I added dill sprigs mainly to highlight the branches of the Christmas tree, but if you prefer, you could chop it and add it to the seasoning of this smoked salmon and avocado Christmas appetizer! It’s not a recipe huh huh but I think it’s cute… Enjoy your meal!
