I don’t know if you do the same as me, but when I find a good deal, I stock up on certain foods, and voilá, buried in almonds!
Today, as a winter treat (but in Bologna it’s 82°F) I’ve prepared the chocolate almonds, an easy and delicious dessert!
Almonds, like other dried fruits, are quite high in calories but also full of benefits and nutritional properties, such as being easy to digest, cholesterol-free, and containing no lactose or gluten.

- 10.5 oz blanched almonds
- 8.8 oz 70% dark chocolate

Preparation RECIPE CHOCOLATE ALMONDS
To get a better product, slightly toast the blanched almonds for 5 minutes, moving them with a spatula at 392°F on a static mode baking tray.
Let them cool completely. Melt the coarsely chopped dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
Once the chocolate is melted, mixed, and homogeneous, pour it over the toasted blanched almonds, stirring continuously so that they are entirely coated in chocolate.
Place the chocolate almonds in baking cups if you want to make a little gastronomic gift, or enjoy them as they are… rudely! Enjoy with the chocolate almonds…
