This recipe for yogurt cake with pears and chocolate comes from my family cookbook. The proportions might be the same as a thousand others, but this is Maria’s, my mom’s!
I modified the original recipe by adding pears and chocolate pieces, and I used creamy plain yogurt because it’s a neutral taste and goes well with the addition of fruit and cocoa.
The unit of measurement is the jar, so let’s start with the measurements!
P.S. INSTEAD of the original amount of granulated sugar 1 and a half jars, I used 50 grams of Truvia Eridania based on erythritol and stevia, which, with fewer grams, have excellent sweetening power.

PREPARATION FOR THE YOGURT CAKE WITH PEARS AND CHOCOLATE RECIPE
Combine in a bowl the beaten eggs with sugar, yogurt, and flour, a little at a time, sifted with baking powder.
Finish the batter for the yogurt pear and chocolate cake, adding the seed oil (I use corn) and the rum.
Butter and flour the mold or line it with dampened and squeezed parchment paper.
Pour the mixture, leveling it with a spatula, arrange the pear slices radially, and sprinkle the surface of the easy yogurt cake with chopped dark chocolate.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 45 minutes or depending on the characteristics of your oven, always do the toothpick test.
Once baking is complete, let it cool, then remove from the mold the yogurt cake with pears and chocolate.
Before serving, dust it with a little powdered sugar and … enjoy your meal!!!
